Microsoft Excel 97 2003 Worksheet
Open, view, and print Excel workbooks, even if you don't have Excel installed. This download is a replacement for Excel Viewer 97 and all previous Excel. My last work computer had the XP operating system and the programs that I use for my work are 97-2003 worksheet and they worked fine. Now I have the windows 7 system.
You are trying to import data from a webpage. What may work is to use the Data Import method. You can go to the excel worksheet menu and try a new webquery. In the address box you can type c: temp test.html (or equivalent) for you file name and see if you get good results.
What I can also do is open a IE application from VBA and read the data into the spreadsheet. I've done this lots of times, but it is not trival.

And i just open the 97-2003 worksheet file with notepad, it's really a html sheet which like this: Filter Name:Awaiting v-erchen Review, Date: 2/15/2011,User Alias: v-erchen D So i can understand why i can connect to the file with open the file by Excel first. It opens blank excell spreadsheet but when I send to another computer with the same Office365 it opens. So, this is not a problem of data file self. Have you tried to open Excel 2013 with safe mode, (Execl.exe /safe) and manually open the.xls file from File Open?
