I've been watching netflix through the built in wifi on my Sharp Aquos tv for months now but when we went to turn it on this morning it says' a software update file is available online. Proceed to update menu?' I click yes and it starts to download the latest software and goes for about 20 minutes before it stops and says 'download failed' It has done this numerous times this morning. Any ideas on why it's doing this? What should I do about this?

Is this a problem with the TV, netflix, or my wifi?( all other wifi devices in my home are working just fine so I doubt its the wifi) Any help would be great. Tell us some more.

You can only upload files of type PNG, JPG, or JPEG. You can only upload files of type 3GP, 3GPP, MP4, MOV, AVI, MPG, MPEG, or RM. You can only upload photos smaller than 5 MB.
You can only upload videos smaller than 600MB. You can only upload a photo (png, jpg, jpeg) or a video (3gp, 3gpp, mp4, mov, avi, mpg, mpeg, rm). You can only upload a photo or a video. Video should be smaller than 600mb/5 minutes. Photo should be smaller than 5mb.

I have many apps on my PC that does NOT require unzipping updates, or attachments, to work. Apperently, this TV was not one of those things.
So, after updating the firmware, there is a noticable improvement on weak signal reception. This TV would start pixelating at 36% strength, sometimes at 37%, but now, hold at a full 35%. If it's slightly below, or 34, 33% threshhold, it'll pixelate. This does not sound like much, but for several fringe area stations, this makes a BIG DIFFERENCE in how well the TV works! It's 2% I could've used MANY TIMES watching some stations. The 2% that's the difference between entertainment, and cussing at the TV.
