Acer Aspire Sa90 Manual Transfer
Hey all, I've had a bit of an odd morning. I bought some brand new Kingston RAM - 2 x 2GB DDR (533MHz) and installed it. Rebooted my machine and I was getting some really odd errors about APCI.

On boot up the machine displays the ram but only as 3.14 GB - I pulled the sticks and refitted my original 2 x 1GB DDR and the machine just beeps repeatedly. I put the 2 x 2GB back in and it boots but bluescreens. I've attempted to install windows Vista, 7 and 10 (Vista was originally installed on it) but it either freezes or bluescreens on install.
I'm currently running MemTest86+ v5.01 and that is showing 3074MB Ram installed, and its working 100% Is there a way to upgrade the Bios to the latest without having a working OS installed? Do Acer offer DOS bios installations anymore? Does anyone else have any ideas?
